DJT Makes Concessions to Putin Over Ukraine Before Negotiations Start
Donald Trump made key concessions to Russia’s Vladimir Putin before even attempting to begin negotiations between the USA and Russia about Ukraine.
The concessions included:
- Ukraine must not become a member of NATO in the future.
- No US troops will be stationed in Ukraine.
- Ukraine has to give up territory to Russia (in addition to Crimea which Russia took by force in 2014)
Trump also remarked that Ukraine “may be Russian some day.”
Both Ukraine and the European Union insist that Ukraine must be involved in any negotiations about ending the war that Russia started by invading. Trump and Putin expect not to consult Ukraine or Europe.
