China, Japan and UK Dump $81 billion in USA Treasury Bonds in One Month

In one month since Donald Trump’s inauguration, China, Japan and the UK offloaded $81 billion in USA Treasury bonds.

The amounts unloaded were:

  • China: $9.6 billion, leaving a holding of $759 billion, their lowest level since 2009
  • Japan: $27.3 billion, leaving a holding of $1.0598 trillion, the highest amount held by any country
  • UK: $44.1 billion, leaving a holding of $722.7 billion

This indicates falling trust in the USA’s dollar.
